The budgets developed by the Vincentian Partnership for Social Justice represent the cost of a minimum essential standard of living for six households. While the budgets are based on group work undertaken in Dublin, measures were taken to check their relevance for other urban areas – Cork, Galway and Monaghan. This brief report presents the cost of a minimum essential standard of living for six households located in Dublin, Cork, Galway and Monaghan for the period 2006-2008.
